Saree - The most innovative you could get with a few yards of clothing.   It is graceful sensuous beautiful and practical all at the same time.  I have always been amazed at how and who came up with the idea of draping few yards of clothing in so many different ways and how it stood the storms of changing fashions through ages.  From the time I can remember I have always been entranced at the sight of a saree.  From being a teenager who would borrow one of my sister's beautifully starched and ironed cotton sarees for a school occasion to a middle aged woman collecting my own sarees wherever I went, my love for sarees has only went uphill to the point that I quit my corporate job and went on an expedition to learn weaving.

 I have always been curious about the different techniques that weavers use to create such beautiful fabrics with colors that are so true and vibrant and my weaving course gave me a glimpse of the hardwork and creativity that went into each saree. I am also fascinated by the fact that every saree has a story to tell. This also led me to visiting multiple weavers and ended up starting my own retail store.
